Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Officer to join our team in Geelong, reporting to the Trade Service Centre Manager.
As a key member of the team, you will thrive in an environment where service, sales and customer solutions are paramount. This role will see you as the face of our company and enjoying being part of the local community. Your day will be varied as you will be involved in sales and enquiries, merchandising, liaising with customers and suppliers.
Duties
- Provide excellence in customer service and manage the customer journey
- Welcome new and existing customers into showrooms with face-to-face selling
- Actively promote Ausreo's products to generate sales and process orders
- Handle merchandising, stock replenishment and warehouse stock control
- Generate quotations and engage with e-commerce and social media
- Manage Service Centre operations and coordinate production with factory staff
- Troubleshoot enquiries via phone and email efficiently
- Coordinate logistics including transport and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage difficult customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous retail, hardware, or trade environment experience highly regarded
- Steel industry experience advantageous but not essential
- Face-to-face selling skills with entrepreneurial spirit
- Highly organised with excellent multitasking and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Team player who can also work independently under pressure
- Current driver's licence essential
