Overview
The Cutter is responsible for accurately cutting materials according to specifications to prepare them for production or assembly. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to operate cutting machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other duties that may be assigned.)
- Measure and cut materials as per the job order.
- Operate foam cutting equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect materials for quality before and after cutting to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Maintain cutting equipment by performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with production team members to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or material defects to supervisors promptly
Additional Responsibilities:
- Material Unloading – Load and unload materials from trailers.
- Material transportation - Transport all finished goods to glue line or designated area.
- Assistance with physical inventory inspection and measurement as required.
- Other tasks or jobs as assigned by area leadership
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to count and do simple math skills.
- Must be able to do some heavy lifting.
- Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, cranes, gauges, and other various general hand tools.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required for consideration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate quality issues to supervisor, lead, and tool and die personnel.
- Ability to effectively communicate mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
- Ability to record quality and production information on records.
- Ability to read print and use measurement tools, effectively evaluate part for conformity.
- Ability to read instructions for operation, gauging, or other instructions needed for job.
Ability to visually compare products for defects
