About the role
Cyber Security threats continue to grow in complexity, and businesses of all sizes are feeling the impact. That's why CodeBlue is growing our cybersecurity practice! To keep up with the rising demand, we're excited to introduce a new role for a Cyber Security Consultant . The Security Consultant is responsible for building meaningful relationships with customers to understand and help them navigate cybersecurity challenges with ease. They simplify and communicate complex GRC concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring customers are well-informed and confident in their security posture. In collaboration with the sales team, the Security Consultant provides pre-sales expertise by designing tailored solutions and delivering compelling presentations and proposals.
This role is perfect for someone with the right mix of technical know-how and communication skills, helping customers receive expert advice and customised solutions for their unique cybersecurity needs.
What you’ll be doing:
Customer Engagement
- Build strong, trusting relationships with customers to understand their cybersecurity needs and concerns.
- Offer strategic advice to customers on improving their cybersecurity posture and stay head of the curve.
Audit and Compliance
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments and audits based on leading frameworks.
- Identify any gaps and provide clear, actionable recommendations to elevate customers' cybersecurity maturity.
Pre-Sales Support
Work as a trusted advisor, listening to customers' challenges (both technical and business) and communicating these to the sales team. Document everything clearly, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.Skills & experience:
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in conducting audits and compliance assessments.
- Experience providing technical pre-sales support to help sell cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong knowledge of NIST or other key Cybersecurity frameworks and how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
- Strong understanding of GRC principles and practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
