About this opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Data & Insights Analyst to help us leverage data for high-quality, impactful reporting and analytics, throughout a 12 month contract opportunity. If you love telling stories with data, optimizing reporting solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business success, this role is for you!

In this 12 month contract, you’ll work alongside a team of talented technology specialists and Commercial Analysts, you will play a key role in transforming how SilverChef enhances our data warehouse infrastructure to inform our decision making!

Some of your duties will include:
Develop and maintain our Power BI reporting layer to deliver solutions for stakeholders.
Design, build, and optimise ETL processes and data ingestion pipelines using SSIS to ensure seamless consolidation and transformation of data from diverse sources.
Review and optimise existing reporting and data analysis solutions and propose new, more advanced alternatives.
Gather detailed requirements and review financial data to develop tested reporting tools and analysis.
Develop metrics, reports and visualisations to measure performance, and champion the integration of improvements to core analytical models.

What you’ll need to succeed

5+ years’ experience in a BI-related role, with expertise in Power BI, DAX, PowerQuery, and SQL.
Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes, data ingestion and consolidation usings SSIS, SQL, and related tools.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, BI Tools, Dataflows, DevOps, and SSRS.
Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Bonus: Familiarity with financial products such as Asset Securitisation, Leasing, and Financial/Operating Leases.
