Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various cleaning tasks efficiently while providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas throughout the facility.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
- Experience with floor cleaning is a must
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, particularly in commercial or industrial settings (2 years).
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
