Koerner Distributor, Inc. seeks full-time delivery route drivers for its Effingham, IL warehouse. Driver is responsible for prompt delivery, proper rotation and merchandising of our products at retail accounts. A valid Class A CDL is required and physical ability to lift 150 lbs. Candidate will possess great customer service & communication skills, energetic work ethic and willing to perform multiple job responsibilities. Tuesday - Friday normal work week.

DELIVERY:

Properly execute check-in and check-out procedures in each account each day.
Perform accurate & timely product delivery to all assigned accounts each day.
Perform accurate & timely product delivery to all “Call In” orders each day.
Rotate all products in storage areas, cooler areas & displays in each account each day.
Collect for all alcohol products at the time of delivery or notify the office of any collection problems at “time of delivery”.
Reconcile my account sales & cash accurately each day.
Communicate all sales opportunities to the appropriate salesperson or area supervisor verbally and/or in writing each day.
Communicate all problems to my direct supervisor each day.
Maintain a professional relationship with all customer and customer employees.
MERCHANDISING:

Stock, rebuild displays and restock coolers in assigned accounts each day.
Complete all POS and/or display work as assigned by supervisor.
EQUIPMENT:

Clean & maintain assigned vehicle’s appearance each day.
All preventative, fluid levels and safety checks have been made weekly.
Report all equipment problems and/or any equipment damage to immediate supervisor upon discovery.
Report all accidents and/or unsafe practices immediately to immediate supervisor.

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
