Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to work with warehouse equipment and driving various types of vehicles including tilt and load trucks.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and courier vans to deliver products to customers and clients.
- Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of heavy items.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices or packing lists before departure and upon arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments when not on delivery routes.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving to ensure safety for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving best practices.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Experience operating a tilt and load or similar commercial vehicle .
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely, including use of forklifts or pallet jacks if certified.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with load & unload procedures.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse environments. This position offers an engaging work environment for those who enjoy driving, logistics, and providing excellent service while working in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
