Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities before leaving the warehouse
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with navigating local roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles, such as box trucks, vans, or tractor-trailers
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- customer service skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload them from the delivery vehicle
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and complete necessary paperwork
- Time management skills to meet delivery deadlines and maintain an efficient schedule
