Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Delivery Driver Helper to support our delivery team. This role involves assisting with loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customers while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and experience in warehouse or delivery operations. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial driving and logistics within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading packages from box trucks or commercial vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Help ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated route locations
• Support the driver in route driving and navigation to customer sites
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Safely load and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
• Assist with inventory management and documentation as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
• Follow safety protocols during all phases of loading, unloading, and delivery operations

Skills

• Prior experience in customer service, warehouse operations, or delivery support preferred
• Familiarity with commercial driving, including box trucks and route driving experience
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages or equipment
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is advantageous
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Ability to follow directions accurately and work efficiently under time constraints
• Physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, lifting, and moving heavy items during deliveries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per day
