Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
- Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient experiences and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of infection control practices is essential.
- Familiarity with dental software systems.
- Understanding of general dental procedures is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
