Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience with electronic medical records to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using Dentrix and other scheduling software.
- Handle incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including electronic medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Process patient information and verify insurance coverage prior to appointments.
- Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and support clinical operations.
- Stay informed about dental terminology and office procedures to provide accurate information to patients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and medical terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience with front desk operations and administrative duties is essential.

Pay: $18.94-$29.11 per hour
