Growing family practice that is seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. This is a part-time position , which may lead to more days in the future. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks and providing exceptional customer service in a dental office setting.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently
- Verify insurance coverage and process patient billing
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately
- Handle patient inquiries and provide necessary information
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- 2 years previous experience as a Dental Receptionist
- Proficiency in dental software ideal (Cleardent or similar)
- Familiarity with office procedures and terminology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone systems and front desk operations
