Overview
Lume Dental is a newer small dental office in Red Deer. We are committed to exceptional dental care and our clinic is located in a nice neighborhood with ample parking. We have a great team and are excited for what the future holds!
We are looking for a part time receptionist, 2 days per week. Monday (7:45am-4pm) and Friday (7:45am-3pm) is suggested, but the days may be negotiable.
Duties
- Booking patients, following up on outstanding appointments and recalls.
- Ensuring the schedule is efficiently booked.
- Greeting patients and checking them in upon arrival.
- Entering patient information including insurance information.
- Preauthorizing treatments and procedures.
- Collecting payments, managing insurance claims and balances.
- General duties as needed to ensure a clean and smooth running dental clinic.
Qualifications
- Dental Reception experience is an asset but not a pre-requisite.
- Proficiency with Cleardent and MaxAssist (Recall Max) an asset but not a pre-requisite.
- Friendly and motivated with a good work ethic, able to stay on task unsupervised.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
