Haluatko johtaa ja kehittää ihmisiä kansainvälisessä, vahvasti kasvavassa kaapelialan huippuyrityksessä? Oletko innostunut tarttumaan toimeen ja viestimään selkeästi myös muutosten keskellä?

Osastoesihenkilönä vastaat kokonaisvaltaisesti osastosi toiminnasta ja johtamisesta. Varmistat päivittäisen tuotannon sujuvuuden suunnitelman mukaisesti, optimoiden samalla osaston resurssien käyttöä.

Etsimme esihenkilöä, joilla on vahva halu johtaa ja kannustaa tiimiään kohti yhteisiä tavoitteita, tarttua muutoksiin ja suunnitella osastonsa toimintaa lyhyellä ja pitkällä aikavälillä. Toiminnan turvallisuus on tärkein ohjenuorasi joka päivä, ja toivottavasti olet utelias oppimaan myös kaapelinvalmistuksen teknisistä prosesseista – vaikka et vielä kaikkea osaisikaan.

Osastoesihenkilönä huolehdit lisäksi siitä, että yhteistyö lukuisten sidosryhmien, kuten kunnossapidon, laadun, prosessin ja tuotannon suunnittelun, kanssa toimii. Osastosi vuorosuunnittelu ja kehityskeskustelut operaattoreiden kanssa sisältyvät tehtäviisi.

Toivomme sinulta

Soveltuvaa teknistä koulutusta (esimerkiksi AMK-Insinööri tai vastaava).
Muutaman vuoden kokemusta vastaavista tehtävistä teollisuudessa.
Hyviä johtamis- ja vuorovaikutustaitoja, motivoit ja tuet tiimiäsi päivittäisessä työssäsi.
Paineensietokykyä ja kykyä tehdä rivakoita päätöksiä hektisessä ympäristössä.
Hyvää suomen ja englannin kielen taitoa.

We are looking for a

Department Supervisor

To join our team in Pikkala, Finland, and support our growth. Prysmian is investing over 220 million euros to increase the production capacity of the Pikkala plant in Kirkkonummi. These investments are at the core of Prysmian’s response to the rapid growth in global demand for renewable energy. You are responsible for the overall operation and management of your own department. You will ensure that daily production runs smoothly according to plan while optimizing the use of departmental resources. Most of your department's lines run uninterrupted in three shifts throughout the year.

Your responsibilities will include managing the department's staff in an efficient and motivating manner and ensuring safety at work in accordance with Prysmian's safety guidelines and standards. You will be responsible for the quality performance of your department, and you will ensure that collaboration with other company stakeholders, such as Maintenance, Quality, Process, and Production Planning, is effective. Shift planning and development discussions will be part of your duties.

You are the right fit if you have/are

A suitable technical education (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent).
A few years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills; you will motivate and support your team in your daily work.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a hectic environment.
Good command of Finnish and English.
