Jet Stream Detailing is a premium boutique detailing and vehicle protection shop focused on high-quality craftsmanship and long-term client relationships. We are seeking an experienced Detail Technician to join our growing team.

This is not a high-volume car wash environment. We operate with structured systems, high standards, and attention to detail.

Position Overview

The Detail Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality interior and exterior detailing services while maintaining shop standards and efficiency. The ideal candidate can work independently, problem-solve effectively, and consistently meet premium-level expectations.

Responsibilities

• Exterior washing and proper decontamination processes
• Interior deep cleaning, shampooing, scrubbing, and surface restoration
• Application of surface protection products
• Vehicle preparation for paint correction and PPF installation
• Maintaining high quality standards on every vehicle
• General shop duties
• Maintaining shop cleanliness and organization

Qualifications

• Previous professional detailing experience
• Understanding of safe wash methods and paint care principles
• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Physically capable of performing detailing tasks daily

Automotive passion is considered a strong asset.

This role is not a fit if:

• You rush jobs and prioritize speed over quality
• You cut corners or skip proper preparation steps
• You lack professional detailing experience
• You struggle to work independently without constant supervision
• You do not take pride in shop cleanliness and organization
• You view detailing as “just washing cars” rather than skilled work
