Position Summary
The Development Associate plays a key role in supporting fundraising and donor stewardship efforts. This position manages donor data and communications, coordinates recognition events and an annual golf outing, and provides administrative support for grants and planned giving initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about nonprofit work.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate donor records in databases and spreadsheets, including gift entry and reporting
Prepare and send donor acknowledgments and fundraising correspondence
Coordinate and execute donor recognition events and an annual golf invitational
Assist with grant applications, proposals, and reporting requirements
Support donor stewardship through regular communication via email, phone, and correspondence
Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, donors, and volunteers
Provide general administrative support as needed
Occasional travel may be required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in a nonprofit environment preferred
Knowledge of the Moose Fraternity is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Work Environment
Hybrid work schedule (in-office and remote, after 90 days of employment)
Office setting within a multi-building campus
Periodic high-volume workloads tied to events and deadlines

Pay: $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
