Position Summary: Garden View Care Center at O'Fallon is seeking a dietary aide position. Under the direction and supervision of the Dietary Manager this position is responsible for setup and break down of dining room, serving of food, interacting with residents in a positive manner, cleaning of dining rooms and dishes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- provides and demonstrates first class service and positive work environment.
- Confers with Dietary Manager and cooks to insure pleasurable dining experience
- Cleaning of dining room and kitchen areas
- Serves food according to established dietary standards.
- Assists with food service system including serving resident trays, maintaining a clean environment and checking trays for accuracy.
- Assures that safety and sanitary requirements are met at all times.
- Assists daily dietary cleaning operations and dishwasher functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
