The Perfume Spot, LLC, a fast-growing fragrance and cosmetics e-commerce company, is seeking a creative and highly motivated Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help grow our online presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on with digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and ecommerce — with strong technical and design skills to support content creation and execution. We are now expanding our in-house marketing efforts — and we’re looking for someone who can help take our brand to the next level.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator will support the development, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing initiatives. This includes content creation, email marketing, brand development, social media management and support for product launches across our fragrance and cosmetic categories.

You will work closely with ownership and leadership to plan campaigns, execute daily marketing tasks, and grow our audience and engagement across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Branding & Marketing Strategy

• Assist in developing and executing marketing plans, including seasonal promotions.
• Ensure brand consistency across all creative assets and messaging.
• Help develop brand identity concepts including voice, visuals, and customer experience.
• Support influencer collaborations, user-generated content, and outreach efforts.

Email Marketing

• Build and schedule marketing emails, promotions, and automation flows using Klaviyo or similar email platforms.
• Design email templates, segment audiences, and track performance metrics.
• Support loyalty, retention, and reactivation campaigns.
• Stay current with trends in digital marketing, social media, and online retail.

Social Media & Content Creation

• Plan, create, and manage engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
• Create visually appealing graphics, videos, product spotlights, and promotional content using Canva and/or Photoshop.
• Develop content calendars, write compelling captions, and schedule posts.
• Monitor social engagement and respond to community interactions professionally.

E-Commerce Support

• Assist with marketing initiatives tied to Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and our direct website.
• Help prepare promotional materials, product images, lifestyle photos, and A+ content.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or digital content creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient with Canva and Adobe Photoshop (bonus if familiar with Illustrator or Premiere).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and WordPress for content updates and layout adjustments.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, or WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and online editors for landing pages and content blocks.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles, website analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console), and digital ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads).
• Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with web developers or technical vendors when needed.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills for online audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask, manage deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building or supporting a brand is highly valued.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in the fragrance, beauty, or fashion industries.
• Experience with product photography, short-form video, or TikTok ad creation.
• Familiarity with affiliate programs and marketplace integrations (Amazon, Walmart, eBay).

Work Schedule

• Full-time, on-site in Edison, NJ
• Monday–Friday
• Occasional support during busy seasons/holiday promotions

Compensation

• Competitive salary based on experience (from $50,000 - $70,000 Salary)
