Overview
Misericordia Terrace is in search of a Dining Room Supervisor to add to its already dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a team who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support for its residents. This is a full-time position that will work closely with the Program Director and will include regular evening (finish by 7:30pm) and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, your role will be to provide leadership to dining room staff members, support in the scheduling and training of new and existing staff and work closely with our kitchen team to make sure our organizational goals are met, for our residents to have a high quality experience every time they step foot in the dining room.
- Supervise dining room staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service
- Oversee daily dining room activities
- Ensure training and compliance of all staff with food safety and service of alcohol regulations and restaurant management policies
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Assist in on food handling procedures and service standards

Requirements

Who you are – An outgoing, mature individual with a background in the service industry, is a proven team leader, has excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a drive to create a warm and inviting environment for our residents and their families.
- Prior experience in the food industry or related field
- Strong knowledge of food service operations and standards
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality leadership: 3 years (required)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Smart Serve (required)
