Young lady in Media is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join her support team to assist her in her home and out in the Community Part time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation
- Assist the individual with cleaning and maintaining a safe and clean Apartment.
- Assist individuals out in the community with exploring new interests, Clubs, work, social activities, and personal appointments.
- Collaborate with the individual and her support team members.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a sense of community and connection.
Requirements:
- Experience in the home and the community.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Experience working with people with Autism and/or Intellectual disabilities, including those with memory care needs.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Hours Needed: Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30am to 12:40pm and Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
