Location: Scottsdale, AZ Remote option considered- some travel

In this critical leadership role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the onboarding, training, and mentorship of franchise owners, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to navigate the unique challenges of the industry. From designing cutting-edge training programs to providing hands-on coaching during their first year, you'll empower franchisees to deliver exceptional support to families while achieving success in their territories.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee training for new franchisees, including initial onboarding and a 13-week training program.
  • Define and evolve onboarding steps, identifying pre- and post-training requirements for franchisees.
  • Design, update, and lead comprehensive training modules in Marketing, Business Development, and building referral networks.
  • Integrate sales training into the broader curriculum, including recorded seminars for both new and existing franchisees.
  • Develop/improve structured training plans, covering on-site/virtual components and follow-up sessions, with clear goals and pass/fail benchmarks.
  • Provide continued leadership and customized coaching for new franchisees during their first 12 months to ensure milestone achievements, including minimum placement goals.
  • Conduct targeted, monthly training for franchisees who are building initial placements.
  • Extend training engagement for up to 3 additional months if necessary, based on mutual agreement with leadership.
  • Support franchisee decision-making after 12 months regarding ongoing (fee-based) coaching/training needs.
  • Host educational webinars, seminars, and mastermind peer groups to foster growth and collaboration among franchise owners.
  • Facilitate regional/system-wide training sessions at least monthly.
  • Mentor and guide Franchise Business Coaches (FBCs) to deliver inspiring and effective franchisee support.
  • Establish performance metrics, tracking milestones related to revenue growth and placements through collaboration with franchisees and the leadership team.
  • Observing and modeling Marketing and Business Development behavior in real-world scenarios.
  • Evaluate and refine existing benchmarks to improve the timing and delivery of in-territory training.
  • Build and foster effective communication with the corporate office, franchise owners, and supporting teams.

Additional Initiatives

  • Lead the development of new training programs to address franchisee needs and market opportunities. Update current resources.
  • Oversee ongoing training certifications (CSA & DCE certifications) and provide detailed reporting to senior leadership.
  • Manage all updates to training documents and presentations to ensure alignment with current operational standards.
  • Promote the Assisted Living Locators' mission, vision, and values in all training and coaching activities.
  • Support recognition programs to celebrate franchisee success.
  • Provide hands-on support to franchisees, including on-site visits, to share best practices and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in franchise operations, training, coaching, or related roles (senior care industry experience preferred).
  • Leadership and Training: Experienced in mentoring and motivating new franchisees, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve operational excellence and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication, organization, and strategic thinking capabilities. Familiarity with CRMs and Google Suite is highly beneficial. Expertise in leveraging technology to train and support the onboarding of new franchisees.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Deliver clear updates, foster teamwork, and encourage proactive feedback across departments
  • Performance Metrics/KPI's: Define and track training goals and milestones
  • Sales & Marketing Acumen: Coach on referral networking and sales strategies.

Measures of Success

  • Ensuring franchisees achieve their first placement within 90 days of completing initial training.
  • Supporting franchisees to generate $80,000 in revenue or 22 placements within 12 months of onboarding.
  • Maintaining consistent documentation of franchisee performance and development.

Travel: Up to 35%

Compensation: $85-95k with bonus opportunity
