About the Company:
Bragan is a leading supplier of Truck, van and 4x4 accessories for every make and model of vehicle, or at least nearly every make and model!We’ve been steadily growing over the last number of years, building a strong reputation of quality products at excellent value for money. Our supplier and customer base covers the entire world and is serviced from our logistics and operations home in Monaghan, together with a second facility in Northern Ireland. Our standard product base is enhanced with extensive capacity for customisation to suit specific customer needs.
There are approximately 12 employees based at the Monaghan facility, and is growing steadily. Our new warehouse facility (opened in February 2023), together with our extensive investment in systems, offers us the capacity to double the size of our business in the next 2-3 years.
The management team is comprised of owner/ CEO; aCommercial Operations Manager; a Customer Relations Manager; and an Accounts Manager. To support the aggressive growth plans, we will now add an additional senior management position to lead the daily operations across the business. The successful applicant will also play a leading role in the development and delivery of our future strategy.
Responsibilities: As part of the Management team, the responsibilities include:
· Day to day operational management, with an emphasis on financial control, continuous improvement, growth and optimisation.
· Management of people throughout the site in a clear and supportive way, including regular performance reviews and implementing development plans
· Set and maintain the standards required to run the operation in accordance with its sophisticated logistics systems.
· Constructively challenging and inspiring the workforce on overall performance and delivery of responsibilities in accordance with SOP’s.
· Control the routine commercial affairs of the company (budgeting, reporting, procurement, pricing, overheads, etc)
· Supporting the CEO and the rest of the Management team. Active member of the team that will drive the business plan forward.
· Contributing insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with continuing to grow the business at an appropriate pace
· Contributing strategic market and operations insight in the e-commerce sector
· Providing ongoing mentoring support and guidance to the Management team.
Desired Skills & Experience:
· 10+ Years General Management acumen covering all aspects of a busy e-commerce business.
· Experience in e-commerce business to an international B2B and B2C customer base, with logistics and workshop activities at its core.
· Ability to build and motivate a high-performing team
· Systems-driven experience, with a focus on compliance and optimisation.
· Experience of working in SMEs
· Experience of working in a small team, with a culture of engagement, open communications, and support
· Experience in business development, pricing and growing a business
· Experience in procurement and supply chain management
· Experience in the people aspects of a growing business
· Strategic thinker with good business judgement and business acumen
· Strong interpersonal skills - confidence, flexibility, integrity, motivation, verbal fluency, sensitivity, decisiveness
· It would be desirable but not essential to have a formal business qualification.
Package:
A very comprehensive offer is available for a suitable candidate, with an opportunity to grow into a full GM role. Some remote working will be considered.
