We are looking for a Director Social Responsibility to join our Social Responsibility team.

What you will do
Lead, develop and steer UPM’s group-level social responsibility agenda
Develop UPM’s social focus areas and related targets
Advise and collaborate across businesses and global functions to drive common objectives
Follow human rights developments, societal trends and best practices, and translate them into actionable improvements
Strengthen risk management, social performance and value creation through robust social responsibility work
Ensure the continuous development, motivation and professional competence of the Social Responsibility team
Represent UPM in company-level CSR initiatives and collaboration with key stakeholders
Contribute to wider Group-level activities such as responsible sourcing, HR, investment management, compliance and internal audit
Who you are
You have 10+ years of experience in an international business environment
You have in-depth knowledge of human rights and responsible sourcing
You can analyse complex information and identify key insights
You excel at managing diverse internal and external relationships and networks
You are effective in leading cross-functional and multi-stakeholder processes
You bring proven experience in leading teams
You have strong communication , influencing and presentation skills
You are well organized, analytical and solution-oriented

This position is located in Helsinki, Finland .
This position is offered as a hybrid working model, combining remote work with regular on-site collaboration.
The position holder will report to VP, Responsibility .
