Support Worker (Aussie Female Only) – Disability & Aged Care

Location: Fitzgibbon 4018, QLD
Employment Type: Casual (Potential for Full-Time after 3 months)

Pay Rates:

• Weekdays: $37/hour
• Saturday: $45/hour
• Sunday: $62/hour

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Australian female Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care and companionship to our client living with a hearing impairment.
Our client feels most comfortable with Aussie female staff due to communication preferences.

You will support the client in daily living, community participation, light household duties, and meal preparation — helping her live an active, independent, and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social support tailored to client needs.
• Assist with community access, outings, and appointments.
• Support with light household tasks and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Build and maintain a positive, professional relationship with the client.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Disability or Aged Care (NDIS experience preferred).
• Must be female and Australian (as per client’s comfort and communication needs).
• Availability:
• Monday to Friday – 8-hour shift every day (Total 40 hours in a week)
• Saturday – 1 shift per fortnight
• Sunday – 1 shift per month
• Own car with comprehensive insurance.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Orientation Module, First Aid, and CPR certificates.
