Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen operations.
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols for sanitation, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as trays or boxes of dishware.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers or sinks is a plus.
