Job Summary

Under new ownership, Fireside Inn by Best Western is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our hospitality team. The Dishwasher plays an important role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently to ensure an excellent dining experience for our guests.

This position is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. Previous experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen throughout the shift.
• Properly store all cleaned items to maintain sanitation standards.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks when needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Take out garbage and recycling while ensuring waste areas remain clean and organized.
• Help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment for all staff and guests.
• Support the restaurant and kitchen team during busy service periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is considered an asset, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food handling practices is beneficial.
• Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
