About the Role: Strange Matter is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Dishwasher & Kitchen Support. This role is the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring our team has the clean tools and organized space needed to produce the high-quality, from-scratch coffee and bakery items our community loves. What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

• Wash by hand to efficiently clean all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards.
• Assist with receiving and unloading truck deliveries, ensuring items are stored properly.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning floor drains, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Contribute to scheduled deep cleaning projects within the kitchen.
• Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Schedule & Availability:

• Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily.
• Availability: Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
• Please Note: This shift time is not flexible. From May through mid-August, shifts may occasionally end earlier (around noon).

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or fast-casual environment is preferred.
• Punctual and reliable, with the ability to consistently work early morning shifts.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of a shift.
• A positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine desire to be part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
