Job Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, kitchen utensils, and equipment in a fast-paced Japanese restaurant environment. This role is crucial for supporting kitchen staff and ensuring a smooth operation during service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using dishwashing machines and hand-washing techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Sort and stack clean dishes appropriately to ensure quick access during service.
- Assist kitchen staff in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to restaurant policy.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock of cleaning supplies and kitchen utensils.
Schedule:
Part time:
12.00pm-3.00pm three times a month
6.30pm-10.30pm three times a week
Total 15 sessions a month
Pay is negotiable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $800.00 per month
Expected hours: 12 per week
