Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the culinary team and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and prepping ingredients.
• Buss tables by clearing away dirty dishes and utensils to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Follow food handling safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen area.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food handling practices and culinary operations is beneficial.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to help in various areas of the kitchen as needed, demonstrating flexibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
