*Job Overview*
As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery. Your organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in this position.
*Duties*
- Utilize Fleet Manager system for data entry and tracking shipments
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional phone etiquette
- Analyze freight requirements and determine appropriate transportation methods
- Communicate with supply chain partners to ensure smooth operations
- Working on open bid boards as required
- Confirming all customs paperwork is completed
- Work with dispatch team to maximize each load
*Experience*
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately
- Familiarity with supply chain operations is a plus
- Previous experience in Fleet Manager preferred
- Work in City Dispatching an asset
- Ability to work as part of a team a must
- Good communication skills and organizational skills are necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
