You will also be responsible for morning pick ups, interaction with clients, uploading social media stories and help with cleaning the common dog areas when asked.

Responsibilities

• Lead energetic and safe walks for dogs, ensuring they receive proper exercise and mental stimulation
• Monitor dogs closely during walks, using animal restraint techniques to keep pets and people safe
• Provide basic dog training cues to reinforce good behavior during outings
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pet’s behavior, health, and special needs
• Make morning pick ups for longtime clients and drive them safely back to Andy's K9 Corner
• Uphold high standards of animal handling to ensure each pet’s comfort and happiness
• Upload instagram stories to the business account in a fun and tasteful way
• Be willing and able to clean the common dog areas whenever requested

Experience

• Prior experience in dog walking, handling or pet sitting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and team members
• Have a clean driving record
• Have a solid understand of social media and current trends

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
