About Us

Since 1965, Bergeron Land Development has been a leader in site development and roadway construction across Florida. We're growing and looking for a Dozer Operator with GPS experience to join our team in Fort Myers.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozers and other heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, etc.)
• Use GPS machine control systems (Topcon, etc.) for grading and earthwork
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow site plans and supervisor instructions
• Work in varying outdoor weather conditions
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, especially dozers
• GPS machine control experience required or highly preferred
• Knowledge of construction safety procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and driver’s license verification

Work Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Overtime: Must be available for additional hours as needed
• Total Weekly Hours: 40 to 55 hours
