What's the job?

InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial, coatings and infrastructure. You may not have heard of us, but we do a lot – and we've got aspirations to be number one in every area we deliver. That's where you come in, are you up for the challenge?

As a Driver Operator, you will be responsible for operating various company vehicles and equipment, to deliver efficient and safe services to clients. Your duties will include yard work, performing pre-start checks, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and operated professionally.

Your role will involve a range of tasks, including water blasting, hydro-flushing, and vacuum loading of waste materials. Additionally, you will be expected to clear pipe blockages, operate CCTV equipment, and carry out hydro-excavation. Throughout all these tasks, safety, efficiency and professionalism will be your top priorities.

The Employer's normal hours of operation are between 6am and 10pm, 7 days per week. The hours of work will be 40 hours a week.

You might be faced with vehicle complexities and challenges, so we're after characters who are resilient, adaptable and show perseverance and teamwork.

You will need:

• A full, clean and current driver’s license (minimum class 4)
• 1 year of previous experience driving a Class 4 vehicle
• A Confined Space Entry certification
• Proficiency in Hydro Excavation, Vacuum Loading and High-Pressure pipeline cleaning
