Driver Operator

What's the job?

InterGroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial, coatings and infrastructure. You may not have heard of us, but we do a lot – and we've got aspirations to be number one in every area we deliver. That's where you come in, are you up for the challenge?

Join our team and take the wheel of our diverse fleet of company vehicles, including catchpit trucks, road sweepers, hydro excavation trucks, and more. In this role, you'll operate catchpit trucks to efficiently vacuum dirt, water, and debris, as well as hydro trucks for precision waterblasting tasks.

In addition to driving, you'll be responsible for maintaining the vehicles and ensuring they stay clean and in top working condition. We’re looking for someone who is committed to operating these vehicles safely and efficiently, while prioritizing environmental responsibility.

The Employer's normal hours of operation are between 6am and 10pm, 7 days per week. The hours of work will be 40 hours a week.

We are currently recruiting for 1 role in our Auckland branch.

We’re hoping you’ll be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude. You might be faced with vehicle complexities and challenges, so we're after characters who are resilient, adaptable and show perseverance and teamwork.

You will need:

• a full, clean and current Class 4 driver’s license
• 6-12 months of experience driving and operating catchpit trucks
• 1-year previous Hydro Excavation experience

We pride ourselves in providing a great team environment, career progression opportunities and offer a very competitive hourly rate ranging from $25/hour to $30/hour based on experience and skillset.
