Baker/Driver Needed!

Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake is growing, and we are looking for a Baker/Driver to join our team at our North York location!

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload ingredients, supplies, and products.
• Bake and use the prep machine for preparing cheese, butter, flower and sugar.
• Prepare deliveries on skids and wrap skids for transport.
• Make deliveries between store locations.
• Ensure the work vehicle is well-maintained and in good working order.
• Manage and maintain inventory organization within the warehouse.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 20kg)
• Stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting, ensuring smooth communication.
• Demonstrates strong time management skills and multitask efficiently.
• **Punctual** is essential.

Requirements:

- Must have a valid G class driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Able to drive a 20-foot truck.

- Must be able to communicate in English.

- Previous experience loading/unloading skids and delivering goods is an asset.

- Ability to lift 30kg and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Must be able to work in hotter temperatures and fast-paced environments.

- Must be located near the North York area and able to commute reliably.

- Holidays and weekend availability required.

- Starting at $17.20/hour and %4 vacation pay, subject to increase depending on performance.

- Full-time hours – 40 hours/week (schedule may vary between 7am and 8pm).
