SD Ireland Companies is a well-established and growing construction company serving Vermont and the surrounding region. We are currently seeking a reliable Dump Truck Driver to support our paving, excavation and construction operations.

Position Overview
The Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites while following all safety and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

· Safely operate dump trucks on construction sites and public roadways

· Haul materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and debris

· Support paving operations, some night work required.

· Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

· Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and job site crews

· Maintain a clean driving record and follow DOT requirements

· Assist with general labor or jobsite support as needed

Qualifications

· Valid CDL Class B (Required)

· CDL Class A (Preferred / Considered a Bonus)

· Prior dump truck or construction driving experience preferred

· Knowledge of construction site safety practices

· Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

· Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
