Duty Manager

The Ardilaun Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring the highest standards of service for our guests.

Formerly a country mansion, the 4* Ardilaun Hotel boasts 123 luxury bedrooms with a superb conference centre, wedding venue and leisure club facilities. Nestled in Galway's suburbs, in a secluded setting in leafy Taylor's Hill just 1km from Galway City, Galway Bay, and Salthill, our hotel provides a serene and secluded setting for guests.

Responsibilities

• Work with the management team to ensure smooth running of the hotel operation
• Foster a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests.
• Address guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction
• To ensure that all staff conduct themselves in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual and hotel policy
• Ability to direct the team in all operational departments in their day to day duties
• A strong presence on the floor with a hands on approach
• Assist the Head of Department to continually improve the procedures and systems

Professional Requirements and Experience:

• Proven experience in hotel management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and customer service principles.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including late night, early morning and weekends.
