Duty Manager:

Bonnington Dublin Hotel is seeking to recruit an experienced Duty Manager. This position reports to the General Manager and works closely with all other departments.

The Role:

o To actively work with and assist with the management of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department

o Be hands on within the Conference and Banqueting department

o Ensure the highest level of personalised guest attention and standards are being maintained.

o Drive open communication with Senior Management and Department Heads.

o Manager operational training on a regular basis and ensure it is been carried out.

o To promote a helpful and professional image to the guests

o To assist with all Hotel departments when they are busy

o Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints

o To handle various tasks at one time while a professional and calm approach

o To have a full knowledge of the hotel and all departments within and what they consist of

o To cover Reception, Bar and Restaurant departments when required

The Person:

o Excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise situations

o Strong leadership skills and be able to lead and motivate your team members

o Be passionate about the hospitality industry and take pride in your work

o Be a very hands on person within the role

o Excellent customer service and communication skills

o Good knowledge of food and beverage operations

o 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €35,000.00 per year
