The Role:
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our dedicated team in a full-time position. Reporting to the hotel manager and the operations manager, the Senior Duty Manager will oversee the running of key functions and day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, and supporting all departments in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a flexible approach to work, contributing as part of our friendly and dynamic team. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for customer service and team development.
The ideal candidate will be fully flexible and available to work both weekdays and weekends. Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To oversee the daily operations of the hotel and assist in departments when necessary.
- To consistently maintain the correct service and product standards within the hotel
- Manage and support team members, ensuring they adhere to policies and provide excellent service.
- To assist in training, ensuring that training is documented accordingly, and to assist in the development of staff.
- To have adequate knowledge of operating the hotels AV equipment, air conditioning and lighting in all departments.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage their expectations.
- To ensure an environment exists which promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment in their area of work.
- Ensure prompt resolution of guest issues.
- Monitor billing, payments, and ensure accurate transactions.
About The Role
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of three years' supervisory /management experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Possess excellent guest care and service skills.
- Have a mature, positive, and pleasant manner.
- A creative and solutions-focused approach when problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to use business English verbally and through email correspondence is essential.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management, housekeeping and reservations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in hotel management software such as hotsoft and micros.
