Tot Spot Academy is a locally owned and operated daycare that is looking to add one more professional, organized, caring, staff to our team.

We are looking to hire team members for our Bellevue, St. Albert location.

This position is currently a float position with of full time position.

We are a clean, well maintained, fun loving childcare program. We are looking for another teacher to start and continue on FULL TIME. Must be staying on in full time capacity in the fall; please do not apply if you are only looking for a summer position.

We do not have a staff or child turn over and we are looking to add another "permanent" member to our family; candidates must be planning on staying on, at least part time in the fall . Please ensure upon application that you are looking for something long term (staying on full time past the summer).

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 with 30 minute break, Monday - Friday (note the hours will always be full time but time might fluctuate depending on shift covering).

Benefit package after 3 months
Health Spending account after 1 year

Once full time and permanent, paid time off is:
-two weeks
- all statutory holidays (10 per year)
- the week between Christmas and New Years

- Well spoken and written
- Caring and want to make a difference in the lives of young children
- Punctual with great time management skill
- Engaging with a passion for teaching
- Organized and able to multitask
- Eager to be hands on
- Able to work collaboratively with a group of amazing women.
- Have working at Tot Spot Academy as a long term plan
- Have their Level One ECE.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Help with program planning and execution (please note we do NOT follow the FLIGHT program plan)
- Run a classroom with another certified teacher
- Engage, encourage and support children on their learning adventure
- Provide excellent supervision and support for children of all ages

Successful applicants will:
- Provide an up to date cover letter and resume
- Have some knowledge about Tot Spot (viewed our website/social media)
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid
- Obtain a clean criminal record and child welfare check

Note: must currently reside in St. Albert or surrounding area.

Wage listed does NOT include Top-Up
