Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) - Tiny Treehouse Childcare Centre
Location: Tiny Treehouse Childcare, Orangeville, Ontario, Canada
Start Date: December 2024
Salary: $20.00-23.00/hr.

Tiny Treehouse Childcare is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team as we prepare to open our doors in December 2024.
About Us:
Tiny Treehouse Childcare is a brand-new childcare center dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 18 months to 5 years old. Focusing on Toddler and Preschool care. We believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and explore their curiosity through play-based learning experiences.
Position Overview:
As a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) at Tiny Treehouse Childcare, you will play a key role in providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. You will work collaboratively with our team to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will also build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and maintain open communication to support the well-being of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and age-appropriate programs and activities based on the principles of play-based learning and Ontario's Early Learning Framework.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that respects and values diversity, individual differences, and cultural backgrounds.
- Foster positive relationships with children and families, providing ongoing support, guidance, and feedback as needed.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to assess children's developmental progress and identify areas for growth, providing individualized support and interventions as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development, milestones, and daily experiences.
- Positive behavior/Mindfulness Mindset
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized college or university.
- Registration in Good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories, best practices in early childhood education, and Ontario's Early Learning Framework.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening.
- Positive behavior, passionate about childcare
