Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the standards of early childhood education.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support children's development.
• Utilize leadership skills to guide classroom activities and manage student behavior effectively.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special education needs and diverse learning styles.
• Maintain organized records of student progress and communicate updates to parents regularly.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest trends and techniques in early childhood education.
• Implement Dakota culture and language into daily activities and routines

Experience

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy classroom environment.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities that inspire confidence in children and colleagues alike.
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week
