Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Educate children through play-based learning, fostering curiosity and creativity.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Provide individualized attention to each child, recognizing their unique needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and assessments.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
• Incorporate leadership skills to guide teaching assistants or volunteers in the classroom setting.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• A minimal Level 1 childcare certificate is mandatory
• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to write clear and concise reports on children's progress and activities.
• Familiarity with special education practices
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and guide young learners effectively.
