The Role

This role sits within our Community and Early Learning Services team, which provides high quality early childhood education and care for the families within our community. The Early Childhood Education Trainee will learn and develop their skills while providing support and assistance in the delivery of quality care and education for children aged between birth to six years.


What We Offer You:

  • 2 x Full-Time, Temporary Position (up to 2 years) with competitive pay starting from $47,845.20 per annum plus Superannuation 11.5%

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine interest in childcare and a commitment to pursuing further study in the field
  • Understanding and Inclusion: Awareness and acceptance of children’s diverse cultural/language backgrounds and the needs of children with special requirements.
  • Child-Centered Approach: Enthusiasm for engaging in all child-related activities, responding warmly and appropriately to each child’s emotions, needs, and interests.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute as an active and supportive team member.
  • Compliance: Possession of a current Working with Children Check or readiness to complete the application process promptly.
