Job Description:

Come join our team at The Magic Roundabout, where we pride ourselves on our home from home environment for both our staff and the children we care for. We are looking for a warm and welcoming childcare practitioners to come join the team, at our friendly and homely South Dublin Creche.

The ideal candidate will join our well established team in creating a fun and interactive child centred environment. The position available allows for the candidate to demonstrate their skills and abilities in the early years sector. Here at The Magic Roundabout we encourage staff input and ideas and harbour an environment that allows for creativity to flow.

The perfect candidate will have a warm and gentle nature, excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team and have a good/up to date knowledge of early years teachings & regulations. They will be enthusiastic and have a genuine love for children.

Creche located on Sandycove Dart Line and close to a number of Dublin bus routes .

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Day to day responsibility for the children in your care
• Working co-operatively with parents
• Working as part of a team
• Maintaining a safe, healthy and hygienic environment for the children
• Writing up of children’s records/ observations
• Maintaining a daily care programme for the children
• Adhering to policies and procedures
• Engaging in and carrying out responsibilities relating to the Aistear framework and standards
