Early Years Educator required on a permanent, 40 hour week, contract at Fairyland Creche, Frenchpark, Oranmore.

Job description:

• Implement a developmentally appropriate preschool and after school programmes for young children
• Ensuring a high standard of care and guidance to all children in your care under the designed programme
• Support, supervise and guide early year educators working within your team and work within the line management system.
• Prioritising the health, safety and welfare of all children in the service
• Developing individual educational plans, curriculum plans and observations to encourage child development and progression
• Promote and help maintain an organised, clean, safe, well equipped and culturally sensitive learning environment
• Communicating with parents and members of the community
• Inducting new staff members within the team
• Maintaining program administration
• Performing other related duties as required

There is an annual leave entitlement of currently 20 days + 1 company day paid. Fairyland operates 50 weeks of the year, closing for Christmas, a week in August and all bank holidays. Fairyland offer an excellent pension scheme.

FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare (required)
