We are looking for an Early Years Educator to join our team in The Nest Charlestown, Dublin 11. We have competitive salaries based on Qualification & Experience.

Core duties:

To report to the Management
To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team
Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
To adhere to the Child Care 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, the Child Care Act 1991, and all other relevant legislation and Regulations.
To adhere to good practice guidelines in relation to Aistear, Síolta, and policy documents
Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the Service always with specific responsibility for your designated room
To be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and to follow them accordingly.

The ideal candidates:

Minimum level 5 qualification in Childcare or equivalent if gained outside of Ireland( must be recognised by DCYA to work in childcare in Ireland)
Excellent knowledge of current legislation and standards relating to childcare.
Excellent administrative, organisation and computer skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Candidate must be fully flexible to cover shifts anytime between 7.30am- 18.00pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
