ECLS Specialist - PediatricsLocation: Children’s Hospital of Michigan
Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. is seeking individuals with 1–2 years of critical care experience as a CCP, RN, or RRT to join our growing ECLS team at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Prior ECLS experience is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team while supporting patients and families. This role offers the opportunity to develop a highly specialized clinical skillset and is well suited for individuals considering future entry into perfusion school or advanced clinical roles.
Responsibilities
· Provide ECLS monitoring support for critically ill pediatric patients
· Assess, troubleshoot, and assist with management of ECLS support
· Assist with initiation and termination of ECLS for cardiac and respiratory patients
· Communicate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret orders and adjust care
· Support quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, teamwork, and operational goals

The selected candidate must be flexible with scheduling due to the high-acuity and often unpredictable nature of ECLS therapy for pediatric patients at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
