Job Summary

ADAS High Precision LLP is seeking a skilled EDM Spark & Super Drill Operator with hands-on experience in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). The candidate will be responsible for operating EDM Spark (Die Sinking EDM) and EDM Super Drill machines to produce high-precision components as per drawing specifications.

Key Responsibilities

EDM Spark (Die Sinking EDM)

• Set up and operate EDM Spark machines
• Prepare and align electrodes (Copper / Graphite)
• Adjust machining parameters (current, pulse, gap settings)
• Monitor burning process to achieve required accuracy and surface finish
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy

EDM Super Drill

• Operate EDM Super Drill machine for micro-hole drilling
• Set correct electrode diameter and depth parameters
• Ensure proper flushing and alignment
• Achieve required hole diameter, depth, and positional accuracy

Quality & Maintenance

• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain required tolerances and surface finish
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Record production and inspection data
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection clearance

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die
• 2–5 years experience in EDM Spark and Super Drill operation
• Knowledge of electrode preparation and handling
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in precision machining industry

Preferred Skills

• Experience in oilfield or aerospace components
• Knowledge of tight tolerance machining
• Understanding of surface finish requirements (Ra values)
• Basic troubleshooting skills
