IETC Electrical Services (Ire) Ltd is a dynamic and growing electrical contracting company specializing in Industrial, Commercial & Residential projects across Ireland. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation, we are looking to expand our team with a talented Electrical Estimator to support our continued growth.
Role Summary:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure projects are cost-effective and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed estimates.
- Prepare and submit quotations and tenders in a timely manner.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Evaluate labour, materials, and time requirements.
- Participate in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition from tender to delivery.
- Maintain and update a database of historical costs and supplier rates.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical estimating with a minimum 2-5 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in Industrial & commercial Tenders.
