A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical technician on our Upper Hutt Site. This position will be part of the Maintenance team and Participate in the on-call schedule. The Engineering Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager.

What you will do:

• Perform and document maintenance tasks.
• Fix equipment problems quickly.
• Help with complex equipment issues.
• Do scheduled maintenance.
• Plan tasks with the scheduler.
• Fill out documents accurately.
• Support other technicians.
• Suggest improvements.
• Fix equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Keep work areas clean.

What You Must have

• Hands-on equipment experience.
• Mechanical skills or Trade background is preferred.
• Skills in welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Experience with GMP/GLP or ISO 9000 is a plus but not required.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.
