Engineering Maintenance Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical technician on our Upper Hutt Site. This position will be part of the Maintenance team and Participate in the on-call schedule. The Engineering Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager.
What you will do:
- Perform and document maintenance tasks.
- Fix equipment problems quickly.
- Help with complex equipment issues.
- Do scheduled maintenance.
- Plan tasks with the scheduler.
- Fill out documents accurately.
- Support other technicians.
- Suggest improvements.
- Fix equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot equipment and processes.
- Keep work areas clean.
What You Must have
- Hands-on equipment experience.
- Mechanical skills or Trade background is preferred.
- Skills in welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experience with GMP/GLP or ISO 9000 is a plus but not required.
- Basic computer skills are helpful.
